PROGRAM OVERVIEW

The Certificate Course in Ayurvedic Pharmacy is offered by the Shiksha nursing and paramedical institute.

Upon course completion, the students are competent to cater to the varying needs of the Manufacturing Sector and Consumer Sector of Ayurvedic drug production. To the Manufacturing Sector, they will be able to learn the classical methods of drug manufacture, selection of drugs according to classical text, standardization, quality control, drug store management, and all other needs of manufacturing. In the consuming sector qualified persons will be available for drug dispensing and other activities related to it. The course also intends to train qualified technologist who are capable of manufacturing high-end Ayurvedic medicines using traditional techniques and ensuring quality control and maintenance.

Scope:-

1. To be an expert in manufacturing of Ayurvedic formulations.
2. To identify, collect and process the raw materials used in Ayurvedic drugs, and formulations.
3. To be conversant with drugs and cosmetics act and regulations.
